Hymn text

Aarti of elephant-faced Vinayaka; of Ganapati worshipped by gods and sages.

Of the one-tusked, moon-crested elephant-faced one — a forest of good qualities and destroyer of obstacles; of Shiva’s son, the ever-worshipped four-faced giver of happiness, destroyer of sorrow.

Of the all-capable Lord of Riddhi and Siddhi, giver of pure intellect and clean thought, who burns the forest of sin — sinless, of unknowable course, giver of learning, humility and prosperity.

Of the red-eyed, great-trunked, smoke-hued one holding vajra and ankusa; of the pot-bellied remover of obstacles and calamities, praised by the gods, worthy in every way.
